Hypnosis

WHAT IS IT?

There are many schools, approaches, and definitions… including this one:

A tool for meeting with oneself, with those parts of us that rarely have the opportunity to be seen and heard. Through the search for harmony, motivation, confidence, balance, better sleep, a change in behavior, or the pursuit of another personal goal, hypnosis allows us to connect with the resources, beliefs, needs, and subconscious mechanisms that inhabit us.

Through altered states of consciousness (trance states), it is possible for you to go to that somewhat mysterious place where your matter is more malleable. There you have the opportunity to put flexibility and movement back where it is lacking, or simply to rearrange the order of things, at your own pace.

We experience trance states of varying degrees every day, in a very natural way, absorbed in a book, a movie, music, physical activity, etc. In the practice of hypnosis, we use these states deliberately, we amplify them to increase their effects, creating all sorts of paths facilitating access to the subconscious.

AND WHAT IS IT NOT?

Although it is a brief therapy, with a wide range of powerful levers for change, hypnosis has its limits, both in reality and by law. It can be used as a complement, but is not, and cannot replace psychotherapy. I cannot diagnose or offer psychological treatment.
